Job Description
Wilson Medical CenterThe Assistant Director of Nursing works closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to improve the quality of patient care and services provided by the clinical team. This position works in conjunction with the DON to monitor nursing activity, communicate change, evaluate performance, and discipline staff as needed. This position provides direct resident care as staffing patterns demand.
Job Requirements
Required Education:
X Associate’s degree □ Preferred X Required
X Bachelor’s degree X Preferred □ Required
Required Skills:
Min. 5 year’s Skilled Nursing experience required
Min 3 year’s Supervisory experience required
Must possess working knowledge of accreditation standards andcompliance
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work beyond normal working hours, includingweekends, holidays, and emergencies when necessary
Visible within the organization
Highly organized
RequiredLicense/Certifications:
Current, unencumbered, active RN license in NC
