The Materials Handler receives, stores and distributes materials, supplies and equipment; takes inventory; documents all receipts and issues of stock; and assists with special projects. Maintain sufficient par levels of essential supplies for all assigned areas. Coordinates work closely with other staff within the department of Materials Management. Restocks Code Carts as assigned. Rotation of supplies to insure that supplies are used prior to expiration and there are no expired products or supplies in any supply locations. Reorders supplies by the use of the MMIS (SMART) to see that appropriate PAR levels are maintained. SPIS supplies or REQ supplies as needed.

The Rec and Materials Clerk PRN must have a flexible schedule.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education 
High School diploma or equivalent is required

Minimum Work Experience
2 years Inventory Control or Warehouse Experience preferred
