Position Title:  Business Development Representative – Correspondent Lending

What we’re looking for:

Amerihome Mortgage is expanding its inside sales group in Correspondent Lending. This is a great opportunity for new professionals looking for a career in Sales. Under the direction of the FVP of Sales Operations, the Business Development Representative will play a vital role in the client acquisition process. This employee will be responsible for outbound phone sales to identify, qualify and convert Correspondent Lending prospects to clients. The right candidate will have an innate inclination to help business people and resolve their challenges.

What you will do:

  • Conduct outbound phone sales by calling mortgage bankers and qualifying them as applicants for approval in one of Correspondent Lending’s two business channels, Delegated and Non Delegated.
  • Move leads through the CRM sales funnel to improve and expedite client acquisition results
  • Record all call activity, update and maintain records in CRM
  • Facilitate communication with prospects to ensure all pre-approval questions and inquiries are addressed
  • Collaborate with Outside Sales when necessary to drive home Amerihome’s value proposition to prospects

What you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • 1-2 years of experience and success in an internal b2b sales or client facing role.  
  • Ability to effectively and concisely convince a stakeholder of the importance of considering the services of Amerihome.
  • Proven ability to think and communicate under pressure. 
  • Must demonstrate the ability to adapt to situations quickly and effectively.

What will really catch our eye:

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus
  • Bachelors or Associates degree
  • Residential mortgage experience beneficial but not required
