LifePoint Health- Health Support Center

The overall responsibility of the Senior Application Analyst is to provide a detailed level of analysis, design, testing, implementation and ongoing support of Revenue Cycle and other related systems across the organization. The position supports other application analysts and is expected to take control and lead projects. The Senior Application Analyst also works closely with internal staff members as well as others like MD practices, facilities, and agencies to ensure that systems are reliable and responsive to corporate and each organization’s needs. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills that include a technical vocabulary.


Engage in designing, implementing and maintenance of Revenue Cycle and other related systems.

Coordinate analysis calls, maintain business requirements documentation, determine impact to applications, document configuration and build changes needed, escalate issues or roadblocks encountered during design and implementation, perform configuration and system set up changes, coordinate or assist in all testing/validation of enhancements, upgrade and enhancements, assist with troubleshooting during integrated testing and validation.

Must be able to complete assignments independently and to work as part of a team, take instructions from supervisors, exercise problem-solving skills and interact with co-workers, supervisors, patients, vendors and the public in a professional and pleasant manner.

Participates in the development of requirements and design specifications for new modules, functions, or enhancement requests.

Works with customers to develop new workflows that leverage applications capabilities.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure that application functionality and workflow requirements and business needs are being addressed and documented.

Ability to interface effectively with other departments, hospital personnel, other HSC staff, and business contacts outside the organization.

Participate in on-call support rotation for supported applications.

Regular and reliable attendance.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education: Associate Degree

Experience: 5+years of experience
