Your impact on the team:
Our Higher Education team delivers powerful platforms that are used around the globe, like Connect and ALEKS. As a Senior Consumer Marketing Manager, you’ll make an impact by driving consumer growth across the US, bringing a start-up mentality and the ability to work in a fast-changing environment. This role works from either our Chicago or Dubuque, Iowa office.
What you will be doing:
•         Innovating; creating and delivering consumer offers and campaigns to college students.
•         Developing and communicating product and solution strategy for our consumer segment and related sub-segments.
•         Working with the wider Higher Ed team to create an aligned brand identity.
•         Developing, testing and refining acquisition models, content and messaging to reach and resonate with the student audience in a way that builds an emotional connection with the brand.
•         Creating value through customer advocacy (referrals, testimonials, etc.) and identify cross and up-sell opportunities.
•         Owning the strategy for all paid social channels, ensuring ROI is met.
We’re looking for someone with: 
•         Strong experience in direct-to-consumer marketing, (managing paid media campaigns, budgeting and optimization).
•         Previous working experience in a publishing, education, edtech or a digital-focused customer product environment.
•         The knowledge and understanding of search engine marketing.
•         The data and analytical skills to iterate on strategy and manage tactical campaign development.
•         Strong understanding of, and experience, optimizing for standard user acquisition KPI’s.
•         Excellent communication skills – this is obviously a must!
