Intrado is looking for a Senior GIS Technical Project Manager to add to its team in Longmont, CO.  The core focus of this position will be responsible for managing and supervising multiple projects, including complex and outsourced projects; provide project leadership to assigned team members; coordinate with management and project stakeholders to ensure projects are appropriately staffed; establish and maintain a positive and effective working relationship with senior management, internal departments, and external contacts in order to facilitate agreement on, and meet, project goals and objectives; create and maintain project plans and other associated project artifacts; monitor and report project status; manage risk by performing risk analysis and communicating project issues to the project team and escalate to stakeholders and management for resolution as necessary; proactively oversee project activities and work with management and project stakeholders to troubleshoot and insure quality resolution of project related problems; continuously review the effectiveness of current processes and procedures to identify and lead process improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

Education
•Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, management information systems, or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.

Experience
•Minimum of 5 years increasingly responsible project management experience required with an emphasis on technical capabilities preferred. 
•Minimum 1 year supervisory or lead experience preferred.
•Very strong GIS technical background highly preferred.
•Strong understanding of E911 and NG 911 and PSAP operations preferred.
•GIS data management, analysis and troubleshooting.
•ESRI technology such as ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, ArcCatalog, ArcGIS extensions, Spatial Database and GIS programming.

Other
•Intermediate knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. 
•Advanced knowledge of project tracking software required. 
•Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
