Job Description
HighPoint - Sumner Regional Medical CenterUnder the supervision of an RN, provides continual observation of assigned patients to ensure their safe environment and quickly identify potential safety concerns for those patients.
Reports to: Staffing Coordinator
Job Requirements
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent - Preferred
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Ability to make reasonable interpretation of situations and acts appropriately.
Required Skills
Certifications:
American Heart Association Friends and Family CPR, Heartsaver or BLS certification - Required within 90 days if not current upon hire
Handle with Care within 90 days of hire if not current upon hire
Minimum Work Experience
Previous experience in care of patients - Preferred
