Job Description
Palestine Regional Medical CenterCompletes and documents psycho social histories and master treatment plan for Psychiatric patients. Contacts family members of new patients. Has working knowledge of the mental health, social, support and recreational resources in the
community, and makes referrals as appropriate with proper consent from patients. Facilitates group therapy daily.
Weekends Rotate
Job Requirements
Master's Degree required. Must have current license with the State of Texas as a LCSW or LMSW Social Worker. Have experience in a inpatient psychiatric unit preferred. Should have the ability to work on a treatment team and work well
with others. Must have good organizational and interpersonal skills and assertiveness. Current BLS and complete a Handle with Care class within 60 days of hire.
