Job Summary:
Assesses and evaluates assigned patients. Conducts individual, family and/or group therapy. Functions as a primary contact for treatment and discharge planning. Promotes implementation of therapeutic milieu and daily program schedule. Maintains a safe and efficient working and treatment environment per facility policies and procedures. Communicates effectively with the treatment team to ensure safe, quality care is provided to all patients.
Job Requirements:
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent - Required
Master's degree - Required
Experience working with mental health and/or substance abuse.
Required Skills:
Data Entry using Electronic Medical Record
Team player
Ability to handle a high stress environment
Ability to communicate and react effectively to the unique needs of the patients on the behavioral health unit.
Preferred – LCSWA or Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
BLS required, or obtained during first week of hire
Hospital approved Behavioral Management Program will be provided.
