A position as Chief / Senior Thin Film Process Development Engineer has opened up in our team of engineering professionals situated here in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

Roles and Responsibilities:

 Process development owner for Thin Film deposition processes.

 Your job responsibilities will also include the following:

  • Co-developing, process/product characterization and qualification of the overall Thin Film deposition process for pilot runs and volume ramp of Next Generation Technology Devices and Products.
  • Develop and establish new deposited material processes and new deposition systems.
  • Establishing good process margins and inline controls of these new processes.  Creating and updating of process specification and documentation of working procedure.
  • Resolving reliability or yield issues related to Thin Film processes and lead trouble-shooting of defect and yield issues and process excursions associated with the new process/tools.
  • Championing engineering experiments for process characterization


  • Bachelor or Post-graduate degree in/Chemistry/Materials Science/Chemical Engineering is required with more than 5 years of industry related research experience
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor deposition processes with Sputtering / Evaporation / PECVD together with strong team-building and technical expertise to develop collaborative solutions.
  • Self-driven leader and strong team player with keen technical ability, systematic approach, detailed-oriented, excellent problem-solving skills, and positive attitude
  • Good interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently, be hands-on and expected to dive into technical details as required to cover thinly-resourced projects
