Job Description
Lake Cumberland Regional HospitalUnder the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Director, serves as a clinical leader for the departments within the cardiopulmonary service line. Supports the director in providing for and assuming responsibility for the patient care processes and patient outcomes within the assigned scope. Assists in directing department’s activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education
Associate Degree in Science required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Required Licenses
Respiratory Therapists
• Current Respiratory Therapist Licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with the National Board for Respiratory Care.
Minimum Work Experience
• Three or more years of previous experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services preferred.
Required Skills
Certifications:
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire date.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
