Job Description
Watertown Regional Medical CenterWatertown Regional Medical Center is seeking a Surgery Environmental Associate for full time hours, PM shift. iThis person will be responsible for meeting the needs of all Surgery Department and supporting the department by providing surgery specific housekeeping services. This individual performs environmental services functions that may include major floor cleaning, refinishing projects, , responsibility to clean units on short notice and throughout the hospital, and/or other special projects, in accordance with hospital standards and policies. This position will carry a pager , while working, and respond in a timely manner, to hospital cleaning needs as an expectation of the job. This person is cross-trained to perform the necessary tasks of a Hospitality Associate. Operates under limited supervision and, may be the only Environmental Services Associate scheduled

Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Basic reading and math skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills and behaviors.
