CEVA Logistics US Inc. seeks a MATRIX WMS Cluster Superuser to work in our Mira Loma, CA office.  This position is a cluster based role and operates within the IT and/or operations at cluster level. The role of MATRIX WMS Cluster Superuser will be performed in addition to the normal job function of the holder. 

The MATRIX WMS Superuser acts as a sounding board and a product consultant in relation to WMS CoE products for the operation to the IT WMS organization and as an ambassador of the global warehouse strategy towards operations and other functions within their cluster. 

Every cluster has its own Cluster Superuser. The global community of seventeen Cluster Superusers is an important platform for input into the global WMS product roadmap. Periodical online meetings will be organised by the Global WMS Center of Excellence with this team to validate and define the WMS product roadmap and/or specific system functionalities.  There may also be the requirement to travel to regional or global based meetings on a periodic basis..

Objectives

The Cluster WMS Superuser acts as a sounding board and product consultant in relation to WMS CoE products for the operation to the IT WMS organization and as an ambassador of the global warehouse strategy towards operations and other functions within their cluster. 

Major Duties and responsibilities

- Knows the strategic WMS products (like MATRIX WMS EXPRESS and MATRIX WMS STANDARD) systems and EDI messages in detail from a functional perspective; referencing the available materials (documents and webinars) as provided by the Global WMS CoE.

- Understands warehouse processes and how the various Matrix WMS products match these processes best. Assesses which WMS solution is the best fit, which option packs are required, where GAPS are.

- Closes those GAPs in conversations with customers, operations and/or the global WMS CoE using their influencing skills to align operations with global strategy.

- Provides sales and BD support on our WMS products (like MATRIX WMS EXPRESS and MATRIX WMS STANDARD) in presentations to customers where appropriate.

- Manages the definition of the warehouse system logic for zones, routing etc. for implementations, and choice of option packs for products like MATRIX WMS STANDARD.

- Ensures the familiarisation of global strategy within cluster.

- Assures the provision of complete and accurate data for a new implementations (this includes rules which drives warehouse logic and algorithms, product master data, warehouse layout etc). 

- Understands the working of the WMS systems, which data and reports to use to help the operation run the processes as per design.

- Identifies any incorrect or incomplete usage of WMS systems to steer operations towards correct usage.

- Understand how requests of operations to modify and bespoke the system can be prevented and turned around into operational solution within the WMS solutions portfolio.

Functional knowledge and skills

- Excellent knowledge of warehouse management systems, especially in depth knowledge of our strategic WMS solutions.

- Good knowledge of warehousing processes.

- Track record of WMS implementation success and clear understanding of lessons learned 

- Good English verbal and written communication skills;

- Excellent consultation and presentation skills. Ability to motivate, coach, train and counsel peers and subordinates. Convincing communication style in small and large operational settings.
