Make a Difference!

Are you seeking a career that offers the opportunity to impact people’s lives in a positive way? If so, you won’t find a more rewarding place to be.

About Us

The University of Phoenix is a higher education institution founded in 1976 by John Sperling. Our mission is to improve the lives of our students, their families and future generations through higher education. Our leadership team, starting with our President, Peter Cohen, are all very approachable and open to feedback. They challenge us every day and are always looking for growth opportunities for people at all levels of the organization.

Like some other organizations, we offer terrific benefits, but one truly stands out: our Tuition Waiver. We provide a very generous program to our full-time and part-time employees and their eligible family members that waives! tuition for covered University coursework.

We also offer significant learning and development opportunities, fun events like “Bring Your Dog to Work Day,” and a world-class campus with a restaurant, fitness center, outdoor basketball court, game lounge and a ton of other really cool stuff.

Responsibilities

We are seeking to add 30 Customer Service Representatives (we call them Enrollment Representatives) in the next two months as a result of our recent success and growth. Specifically, you will…

•       Discover their education and / or career objectives and advise them on the various aspects of our enrollment process

•       Introduce and familiarize them with proprietary resources / tools that will aid them in making sound decisions and prepare them for success

•       Provide timely and accurate information, advising and guiding potential students regarding educational programs and financial options

•       Set clear expectations regarding program expectations and requirements while helping them identify available options to develop a personalized plan for success

There’s more to it than that, but we know you don’t want to read a book here.

Qualifications

Ideally, here’s what you bring to the table:

•       High school diploma or GED

•       Customer Service experience

•       Strong interpersonal and communication skills

•       Computer literate with an ability to learn proprietary software applications

•       Bonus points if you have a bachelor’s degree; counseling / career planning / coaching / enrollment / financial aid experience; general knowledge of the higher education industry; and / or previous call / contact center experience

As an Equal Opportunity employer, we particularly encourage applications from members of historically underrepresented racial/ethnic groups, women, individuals with disabilities, veterans, LGBTQ community members, and others who demonstrate the ability to help us achieve our vision of a diverse and inclusive community.
