Job Description

UP Health System - Marquette

Disinfection and distribution of medical equipment.

Interacting with other departments in the hospital.
Prioritizing delivery schedule.
Cleaning equipment with designated cleaner or bleach product, standing while cleaning equipment.
Ensuring daily C&D assignments and responsibilities are completed, providing support where needed.
Inspecting work area daily and reporting unsafe conditions to supervisor, following safe work practices in compliance with GEHC Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
Follow C&D standard operating procedures and work instructions. Ensuring proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), for each task.
Logging into tracking system and running/reading par level reports.
Walking with cart filled with equipment through hospital.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree preferred

*Years of relevant experience may be substituted for required education.

Required Skills

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
