Job Description
HighPoint - Sumner Regional Medical CenterPerforms recording of EKG tracings, ensuring physician orders for each and manages the computer database for EKGs.
Reports to: Sr Nursing Director
Job Requirements
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent - Required
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required Skills
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association required to be current upon hire
Completion of EKG course
Minimum Work Experience
One year of EKG training and experience - Preferred
