The main role of the HR Assistant II is to serve as the front desk of HR in the hospital building.  The HR Assistant supports the overall HR/ Employee Health team.  The duties include but are not limited to: Answering the main line of HR to triage calls. Greet staff, students, vendors, volunteers and agency staff when visiting HR. Support the new hire check in process after the applicants accepts the offer. Responsible for the I-9 Verification process and data entry. Responsible for all Providence Health ID badges and door access. Data entry via Lawson, Kronos, ID badge software, Microsoft Office Suite. Responsible for payroll direct deposit forms and submissions. Responsible for distributing live payroll checks to staff. Data entry and process change for employee name changes and/ or emergency contact. Staff support on E-Stub process to review electronic payroll information. Process employment verification requests to third party vendor. Assist job applicants with online application system. Issue daily meal tickets the volunteers of the health system. Support compliance with getting competency documents signed by leaders.

Job Requirements

Minimum Work Experience:  Minimum of two years HR experience or an equivalent combination of work experience.

Minimum:  EducationAssociates Degree in related field required or previous work-related experience.
Required SkillsMust possess prior HRIS and related data entry experience. Strong computer skills with Microsoft Suite experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
