Bluegrass Community Hospital conveniently located just 12 minutes from Lexington has an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing / Communications team.   The Growth and Outreach Liaison and Marketing and Communications Coordinator supports the outreach efforts, marketing and communications. This position will report to the Director of Marketing and Communications with a strong dotted line reporting relationship to Hospital CEO, HSC Vice President Growth and Outreach and HSC Marketing and Communications team.  The Growth and Outreach Liaison is responsible for strategically planning and implementing outreach efforts specifically with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, other area hospitals, EMS and other potential referral sources within the hospital's primary, secondary and tertiary service areas and maximizing referral and redirection opportunities for both inpatient and outpatient services.  This position is focused on continuous improvements that result in improved experiences for both patients and providers within our facility.  The Coordinator is responsible for implementing digital marketing and communications strategies for one market, working collaboratively with all departments to ensure all digital marketing efforts accurately reflect and support LifePoint brand and message expectations.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree (Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field)

- Minimum 1 year of related experience

Skills and Abilities:

Business Mathematical Skills:   Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.

Moderate Computers Skills:   Frequent use of electronic mail, word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.  Ability to create, maintain and incorporate simple functions into documents, spreadsheets, database and presentations to support business objectives.
