Job Description

Ashley Regional Medical Center

This position is responsible and accountable for the effective operation of hospital services in the absence of unit management by coordinating management and clinical activities to provide efficient and competent care to all patients as well as assisting in the planning a directing of all nursing services. Schedule is every Wednesday night and every other Saturday and Sunday day shift.


Duties
  • Provides oversight for multiple hospital departments in the absence of unit management.

  • Addresses patient care, staffing, and any other issues that may arise.

  • Communicates, collaborates, and coordinates with team members to provide quality patient care and to ensure positive patient outcomes.

  • Ensures Infection Control standards are maintained at all times.

  • Familiar with a variety of medical concepts, practices, and procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a licensed RN to practice inthe State of Utah

  • At least 2 years of nursingexperience required

  • Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NRP andStable certifications within 12 months

  • Supervisor experience preferred.
