Job Description
Fauquier HealthThe Registered Nurse provides and directs clinically appropriate patient care to an individual or group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and mission of the Department of Nursing, the organization, and the scope and standards set forth by the American Nurses Association (ANA).
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree within 3 years of hire. Minimum of 2 years ofexperience is required (only 1 year if experience is with FHS). CurrentVirginia State RN License. Current BLS. Nursing specialtycertification within 12 months of hire (all RNs) or as eligible. Demonstratedability to use computers (email, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.).
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Must be willing to work a minimum of twelve (12) 10-hour shifts per 8 week schedule or 120 hours
Must work six (6) on-call shifts per 8 week schedule, four (4) must be weekend call shifts
Must sign-up to work one major and one minor holiday per year
PRN employees are required to cover onemajor/minor holiday per year. In theevent the department is closed on the holiday, staff are to sign up for the daybefore or after the holiday to ensure the department needs are met.
Rate $55.00 / hour
