Job Description

Position Summary:

Performs a variety of duties and services that include, but are not limited to, maintenance and repair of equipment, building and grounds.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum high school diploma, trade or vocational school.
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in maintenance field.
  • Ability to perform maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment.
  • Certified or licensed in Mechanical/Electrical field preferred.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Performs a variety of duties in and around the hospital
  • Conducts routine rounds of the facility and central plant
  • Repairs and maintains plant equipment
  • Performs preventative maintenance of equipment
  • Contributes to the interior and exterior aesthetic appearance of the facility

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrate sound judgment, patience and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
  • Ability to work in a busy and stressful environment
  • Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work varied shifts
